Dream Mentors 101 and 201 Classes

Dream Mentors 101 (DM 101) Basic Biblical Life Coaching

DM 101 is our first class in Biblical Life Coaching, for those persons desiring to become better disciplers and also learn the basics of biblical life coaching. In this 12 week program (30 hour course), you will be introduced to basic disciple training skills and basic biblical life coaching skills. Upon completion of the 101 Class, you can advance onto the 201 Transformational Life Coaching Class and 301 Mantle of God Class.

You will meet each week with Rebecca as your coach during your program. She will certify you upon completion of the course to receive your credentialing!

• DM Destiny Determinants Life Coaching Model

• Motivation Theory and Entanglements: Why We Do What We Do

• Skills training in BEING a Life Coach versus DOING Life Coaching

• DM 12 Discipler Coach Training Standards consisting of the four components of Coach Attitude, Coach Transformation, and Coach Client Centered Skills. These are the basic standards required by all DM Biblical Life Coaches and Transformational Life Coaches.

• DM Ethical Standards for membership in Dream Mentors International

• The Path of a Spiritual Director and how this relates to a Christian Transformational Life Coach.

• An introduction to the 12 Spiritual Disciplines for spiritual formation.

• Different approaches to overcoming obstacles and roadblocks for Biblical Life coaches and Christian Transformational Life Coaches.

• Contemplative Christian Transformational Coaching Model and other models are discussed and applied.

• Elective topics that enhance spiritual formation and growth for the client are discussed and expounded on.

​Upon completion of our Dream Mentors 101 Course you will then be qualified to take our Advanced Coaching Course (DM 201)

Dream Mentors 201 (DM 101) Advanced Transformational Life Coaching

This is an advanced course divided into 201A and B where you receive more than 30 hours of Advanced Transformational Life Coaching. This advanced level course is for those persons desiring to understand the depths of transformational life coaching. Coaching theories and attachment to God are encouraged in the transformational process. Skills will be learned to help the coach learn to connect with God better and to how to help the client do this in the transformational process. An understanding of the diagrams will be necessary to facilitate this course to others.

The Dream Mentors 201 Group Coaching Program includes:

• 30 Hour Course Video Materials and Power points/Audio files

• 1 hour weekly small-group coaching call with Coach Rebecca on Zoom for 12 Weeks

• Walking in His Life Manual - both physical copy* AND PDF versions

• The Discipline of Solitude (PDF)

• The Transformed Soul (MP3 set)

• Credentialing in Advanced Transformational Life Coaching from your coach upon completion of the course​.

• Upon credentialing you are also qualified to move onto DM 301 - The Mantle of God Course

Course Topics in DM 201A and B include,

• Effective strategies and theories to help the coach understand the mental processes that their client’s are experiencing prior to and during the coaching sessions. This will encompass a variety of different coaching theories.

• How to practice the presence of God.

• Attachment to God as a secure base in relationships

• How the discipline of solitude will enhance one’s relationship to God as a secure attachment. How the discipline of solitude can be used as a coaching technique for those people desiring a stronger and more intimate relationship with God.

• How to increase the process of mindfulness and mentalization in our coaching clients.

• Exposition of Romans 5, 6, 7, 8 and how the law increases sin in the life of the believer.

• Coaching skills and strategies to help the coach work with the client on how to recognize thought patterns that may be preventing them from moving toward wholeness.

• Contemplative Christian Transformational Coaching Model and other models are discussed and applied.

• Elective topics that enhance spiritual formation and growth for the client are discussed and expounded on.
